Safety & Peace of Mind

Resident safety is one of our highest priorities. Each resident has access to a call button that can be worn around the neck, making it easy to request assistance when needed. Simply pushing the button will call for help, and one of our staff members will come running to assist as needed.

Rooms also include safety rails and walk-in showers. Handrails are available throughout the hallways. Secured exterior doors with passcodes also help staff monitor who enters and exits the building.

At The Gables of Blackfoot, we believe well-being includes more than medication management. Mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual health all play an important role in quality of life. Living as part of a community is already proven to increase seniors’ mental, emotional and social health.

Residents receive three balanced, home-cooked meals each day, and staff can assist residents who need help managing or remembering medications.

Our activities program also provides opportunities to stay active, engaged, and happily social through activities such as bingo, cards, puzzles, walking club, and more.

“We have been very impressed with The Gables in Blackfoot! My Dad said, "the only person who took better care of me than those girls was my wife!" They are excellent with the care that is given.
They help where needed and encourage the resident to do as much as they can.
Medications are provided consistently and with care. If prescriptions run out they check with family or take care of the regular themselves.
They have fun activities planned all the time. There are outings to go on. There are games to play. Bingo is always a favorite. There are exercise/stretching activities.
